Tax Advice on TikTok: Is it really worth it?

I’m Donna Bordeaux with CalculatedMoves.com. Where do you get your information and who do you trust when it comes to dealing with taxes and making sure that you operate your business in a legal and professional manner?

I recently received an email from a prospect who sent me a video from TikTok and they said, can we do all of these things? Now, first off, there’s some, some grain of truth to some of those things that you may find on a video on TikTok, but should you really be looking at TikTok as your source of information to help you through and to navigate the waters like a good CPA will help you do?

I want you to rethink that if you think so, there’s nothing wrong with seeing some information that may be posted out there and talking with your CPA about how those strategies may work for you, or if there’s a grain of truth to some of them, there are a lot of mysteries out there, and a lot of people post a lot of things on the internet and you can’t trust everything.

So there’s no substitute for having a good CPA on your team to make sure that you take advantage of all the tax strategies that are open for you. I’m Donna Bordeaux with Calculated Moves. Let me know what you come up with, and I’ll make sure that we keep you on the straight and narrow. Thank you.

Creativity and CPAs don’t generally go together.  Most people think of CPAs as nerdy accountants who can’t talk with people.  Well, it’s time to break that stereotype.  Lively, friendly and knowledgeable can be a part of your relationship with your CPA as demonstrated by Donna and Chad Bordeaux.  They have over 50 years of combined experience as entrepreneurial CPAs.  They’ve owned businesses and helped business owners exceed their wildest dreams.   They have been able to help businesses earn many times more profit than the average business in the same industry and are passionate about helping industries that help families build great memories.
