Hi, Donna Bordeaux with Calculated Moves here today. Let’s talk about direct deposit for a minute. Direct deposit is something you should embrace and use to its fullest extent. It’ll save you a lot of time and money gone are the days of writing checks for things you should put into place. Every option that you can to avoid writing checks. First off, if anybody has a check, they can see your checking account number and your routing number. It’s really a big problem with fraud these days. So let’s not let that information float around any more than we have to. Let’s get direct deposit in place for all employees. Most of your employees love direct deposit. So make sure that you’re making them aware that they can do direct deposit. If you’re using a payroll system that doesn’t accommodate this or charges you extra, they shouldn’t, there’s no need for that. Just let me know. And we’ll get you set up on a system that will allow you to take advantage of free direct deposit. Make sure that you are saving time, not cutting checks and your employees. Believe it or not. They’ll come pick up checks on their days off. It’s a hassle for them, or they will leave work to go to the bank and you lose productivity. So please make sure you implement direct deposit and use it to its fullest extent. I promise you’re going to love it.
