Meet Our Team

Hi there, it’s Donna. I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to our team because you will definitely be meeting all of them. And I want you to be able to put a face with a name. First off, you will see over here on the left, now you know me and this is my husband, Chad. He is also a CPA here in our firm. So together we take care of all of your accounts and your questions.

And this guy back here, he’s not quite part of the team on the accounting side yet, but he’s showing potential for numbers. This is our son, Zach. He is nine and in the fourth grade, he comes to the office after school and has his own office here. So he thinks he’s growing into this, we’ll see.

If you’ve ever called into her office, you’ve probably talked to Nancy. She is our administrative assistant and handles all of the admin of our firm, our office management, as well as our bookkeeping and coding kinds of questions. And she keeps us all in line because she’s my mom too. So she, we are all a big family here.

And lastly, but not least is Dixie. She is part of our security forces here. So occasionally you may hear her bark in the background when I’m talking to you or on a WebEx, but she is here in the office with us each day. She likes to come in and see everybody who comes and goes. And of course, find out when the ups and FedEx man are coming so she could bark at them.

Our offices are in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. For those of you who have not heard of that, which is quite possible, we are a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. You’ll see we’re right on the South and North Carolina border, just over. We’re probably about a mile from the Charlotte city limits. So not too far, we’re close to the city, but we still have a small town.

This is a picture of our office building. We are right here in the front corner of this building. It’s a two-story building here in Lake Wylie, great facility we have great neighbors and we enjoy it here. We’ve been voted best of Lake Wylie for eight years now. So, we are very highly involved in our community and we love to participate in things like the rotary. My husband’s in the rotary here in Lake Wylie and a former past president and assistant governor. We are also involved with the Cub Scouts soon to be Boy Scouts in PAC 333 at River Hills community church. And also I am a secretary on the board for the Lake Wylie chamber of commerce. So we’re all around town here, as well as working with our clients across the country.

As you get to know us and learn more about us, you will see that we like to go out and explore. We have a travel trailer that we like to go out and go camping and find different, cool places all across the country. This past year, we went to Yellowstone and went out West on our biggest trip ever. And so we enjoyed seeing the sights and a lot of relaxing times, but rest assured we had internet most all the time.

Wyoming was a little scary, but, we were able to keep in touch with all of our clients and we practice what we preach. We use cloud processing for everything we do here. So no matter where we are, we have access to our data and we can still continue to help you solve problems.

You’ll see Zach here, he is also involved in TaeKwonDo. He’s our purple belt. So you may see some pictures of our travels and our goings on if you follow us on Facebook or Twitter. And we hope to see some of your family there. As I mentioned, we’re all a big family here where everything is involved in our family and we live it and breathe it all day. So we hope to become part of your family as well and enjoy hearing about your personal life and your activities as well as helping your business succeed.
