DENVER, Colo., August 20, 2026. Calculated Moves, PC has been named Small Firm of the Year at the Xero Awards US 2026, announced live at Xerocon Denver, Xero's flagship conference for the Americas held August 19 and 20.
The award caps a remarkable run for the firm, which was shortlisted as a national finalist in three categories: Small Firm of the Year, Advisory Innovator of the Year, and AI Champion of the Year. Only three firms in the country are named to each list.
The recognition traces back to a single bet made thirteen years ago. When Xero first landed in the USA, Calculated Moves moved its entire practice onto the platform, every client and every file, at a time when nearly every other American firm was staying with the familiar desktop tools. That all-in move made Calculated Moves one of the first 100% cloud accounting firms in the country.
Being early is the firm's oldest habit. Calculated Moves went fully paperless in 1999, more than a decade before most of the profession stopped printing.
